2. What is the OSI layer for Router?Layer 3

3. What is the OSI layer for Hub? Layer1

4. What is delayed AGC? Where dlelayed AGC is used?

AGC stands for automatic gain control.

Normal agc will cause small signals to be aggressively enlarged while large signals are less enlarged.. In delayed AGCs all signals smaller than certain level with constant gain and work as normal AGC. For signal higher than this limit, it will work as the normal agc.

In otherwords, Normal AGC works as Amplitude Loop Lock, maintain signal in a constant level. Delayed AGC works as Amplitude Loop Lock if the signal level is higher than a threshold level.

The disadvantage of automatic gain control, attenuating even the weak signal. It , is overcome by the use of delayed automatic gain control

where negative feedback aimplifer is used?

When a fraction of the output of an amplifier is combined with the input, feedback exists; if the feedback opposes the original signal, it is negative feedback and if it increases the signal it is positive feedback. A negative feedback amplifier, or more commonly simply a feedback amplifier, is an amplifier which uses negative feedback to improve performance (gain stability, linearity, frequency response, step response) and reduce sensitivity to parameter variations due to manufacturing or environmental uncertainties. more details at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Negative_feedback_amplifier
